Great photography is not about the equipment you have or the lenses you use, but the heart by which you take your images. Today’s feature is of the recent work of our friend Jeremy Cowart who just returned home from a January 12th-15th trip to Haiti as a volunteer with Hope International. Jeremy laid down his expensive DLSRs and toured Haiti and shot and edited exclusively on his iphone. Our selections from his trip are below and you can see that even on a low-res platform like iphone you can create some amazing images.
More about Jeremy:
Jeremy is a great guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and is always trying to lend a hand and bring life and joy to the world around him. He’s the founder of the world-wide-phenomenon Help-Portrait founded in 2009, which gave away thousands of professional portraits to needy families world-wide. He also recently released the Life Finder Instructional DVD which offers tons of photography resources and demos for aspiring amateur and professional photographers. How do you come up with things like these? Jeremy’s also an extremely creative guy and a talented self-taught entertainment photographer from Nashville. Even if you haven’t heard of Jeremy, were sure you’ve seen his images of celebrities from shows like Prison Break or E! Entertainment tv and musicians like Sting or Imogen Heap among hundreds of others.
