Cameraluv Shows at Ritz Ybor

9 Dec

The Virgin 2.o – Square One Creative Event at the Ritz Ybor in Tampa, Florida featured live classical and jazz music, 3 fashion shows and over 80 exhibiting artists including Cameraluv. Over 2,000 people came through the free event over the course of the Five-hour opening.

We debuted two new paintings, Starmite on Red, 16″x16″ and Hawkeye On Yellow, 12″x12″ at the event. They are now available in the canvas art section. We were hoping to bring the wall installation we debuted at Canvas 4, but the Rivoli room at the Ritz wouldn’t allow any nails or holes into their newly remodeled room. Our compromise ended up being a wire hanging system provided by the venue. After several hours of setup and adjustment the wall was ready.

It’s always fun to hear the feedback from other artists as well as show attendees. Sometimes they don’t know i’m standing nearby. I overheard a “that’s hot” and “Cameraluv … that’s nice”. A few of the artists commented that they enjoyed my work the best and thought I had  a great style and colors which were nice compliments.

There was a wide range of art styles represented from acrylic and oil paintings, to skateboard art, stuffed toys and scratchboards as well as photography I enjoyed from Ryan PradoA.L. Canterbury. Rolando Corsa and Ashley Bates. I also had a chance to meet tattoo artist Jason Avery and ArtPool Maven and photographer Marina Williams.

The All New Cameraluv.com is Here

30 Oct

We are proud to launch the all new Cameraluv.com featuring the camera-inspired work of artist, designer, collector Jeremy Kennedy. The inspiration for Cameraluv came years ago from the realization that cameras are some of the most beautifully designed objects around us and they serve to capture and immortalize the memories we love most.

Whether you’re a shooter, collector or just love to model in front of the lens, we’ve got something for you. From camera-inspired prints, hand-painted canvas art and skateboards, to wearable cameraluv-ing fashions like apparel, custom-camera shoes, buttons and hand-stitched bags, we’ve got you covered. Cameraluv will also work to showcase new must-have cameras and other photo-related gadgetry and well as profile the coolest up-and-coming photographers.

Take a look around and join us in our obsession with Cameraluv.

Cameraluv Now on Deck

2 Oct

We’re always looking for inspiration and fun things to put cameras on, and what better canvas is out there than the beautiful maple skateboard deck.

In 2007, we started customizing decks again and the hand-painted Reflections to the left was the result. As much fun as decks are to paint, they can be very time-consuming and expensive, so we decided to make them a little more accessible by releasing them on a larger scale at an affordable $55.

The first batch of decks including the refined Reflections and Drops are available now exclusively at the Cameraluv Deckpeck Store.

Buy yours today for the wall or the street!
