Kelsey Foster Photography

The talented Kelsey Foster grew up in Texas and studied at the University of North Texas, but her real education came from moving to New York and hanging out with other talented friends like the lovely Anna Wolf and Eric Ryan Anderson. She now splits her time between Brooklyn, NY and Dallas, TX and loves to find cheap tickets and travel the world.

Kelsey’s work inspires … the way she captures the natural light, the way her subjects eyes sparkle, the way everyone seems so comfortable with her. We fell in love with so many images from her fashion and portrait portfolios we had a hard time cutting it down. Enjoy a sampling of her work and be sure to follow the links below and visit her site and blog.

Vintage Camera Envy

If you’re a vintage camera lover like us, you’ll love PrismYard. It’s a fun tumblr/pinterest style site where you can pick the kind of cameras you’re interested in seeing and a whole stream of images is ready to stroll through. It’s relatively new, so there aren’t thousands of images on there yet, but it’s still inspiring site. If you’ve got a collection you want to show the world, they’re accepting submissions.

Jasper James Photography

Jasper James is an extremely talented and versatile photographer who’s called New York, London and now Beijing home. He’s worked with the world’s leading magazines and advertising clients and travels the world shooting a variety of subjects like travel, food, interiors, fashion and advertising. What struck us most from his portfolio was a personal project called City Silhouettes which merges his subjects into the intersting places he finds himself. The Glowing Man

The Glowing Man

Fashion photographer and filmmaker Jacob Sutton braved three dark nights of -25C temperatures with his Red Epic camera to capture pro snowboarder William Hughes light up the slopes of south eastern France in an L.E.D. suit made by John Spatcher. One of the coolest things about this video is the fact that Hughes is the only light source painting the scene with his weaves and turns… beautiful.

Recoloring History

Recoloring History

Swedish Artist Sanna Dullaway has made a name for herself recently in the recoloring world. Some love her work and some unfortunately seem to hate her. We’re simply fascinated at seeing these iconic images come to life in color. Some of her subjects include Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, Albert Einstein, but she’s also tackled other images from the Vietnam War and more. Larger images of some of her colorization can be found here and if you want her to liven up your own images, visit her site Pastincolour.com.

Wish-List:<br />The Gizmon iCA iPhone Case

There’s finally a case that makes the iPhone the camera it wants to be. The vintage-inspired iCA iPhone case ($65) available from Four Corner Store is made from polycarbonate and comes with two mock mirrored lenses attach to the front that you can use for self-portraits. One of the coolest features of this case is that it’s shutter buttons actually work your iPhone shutter. It’s available in black, brown, or white.
